All outings should be self-funding. No refunds will be given.
If a member has paid for an outing and then cancels, their place will be offered to members on the waiting list (if any), but ultimately it is the member's responsibility to try and find another member to take their place if they require a full refund.
IMPORTANT
Members need to be aware that the insurance policy provided by the national U3A covers members for public and product liability only and does not cover any financial losses out of the Outings Groups control e.g. adverse weather preventing a coach journey to a booked theatre show. The Outings Group does not have any trip cancellation insurance. The u3a policy only covers members of the u3a and anyone who is in the process of joining.
